The Problem
Master-Chef Sascha had been a small-scale beekeeper for years. He has always been passionate about making the best tasting products. Several years ago, he made jams with honey to see test the shelf life. As Alain joined, they decided it was time to scale up.
Just as they were scaling up, Corona disrupted their original go-to market strategy. Having just invested in new premises, bees and beekeeping equipment, Nordic Bee needed a fully committed marketing partner to build their online audience and grow their sales.
The Solution
A quick look at their website proved to us that their online presence didn’t match the quality of their products. We worked with Nordic Bee to rebrand and develop a website that built trust with their audience.
In order to ensure rapid expansion, we helped Nordic Bee set up a Kickstarter campaign. Crowdfunding is normally not easy in the food industry, but we thought that there was something to Nordic Bee that could make it work. And it did, the campaign reached 150% funding, furthermore the experience from this campaign lay the foundation for their further expansion. They discovered new markets and got new, loyal customers.
